6mm Thick Cylinder Head Shroud Spacer Kit

Aluminium fan shroud spacer set for Volkswagen Type 1 upright cooling engines. Designed to fill the gap between the fan shroud and cylinder head tinware commonly found on stroker or wider than standard engines.

When fitting stroker crankshafts or wider performance engine combinations, the increased engine width can create a gap where the cylinder tins attach to the fan shroud. These precision aluminium spacers eliminate the gap, allowing proper tinware alignment and secure attachment.

Also essential when fitting reproduction 36hp style fan shrouds, helping achieve correct spacing between the fan shroud and cylinder tins.
