0.95L Thin Line Deep Sump - Type 1 Engines

Aluminium thin line deep sump kit for VW Type 1 aircooled engines, designed to increase oil capacity and improve engine oil control.

This sump bolts to the bottom of the crankcase and adds approximately 0.95 litres of extra oil capacity. The increased oil volume helps improve oil supply and can assist with cooling, especially on tuned engines, motorway-driven vehicles, Buggies, Bajas and cars used in warmer conditions.

The narrow 45mm deep design provides extra oil capacity without hanging as low as larger deep sumps, making it a good choice where ground clearance is important. The finned cast aluminium body helps dissipate heat, while the internal reinforcement adds extra strength and durability.

Supplied as a complete kit with the necessary fitting hardware. We recommend fitting with new gaskets and checking clearance to exhausts, engine supports and ground level before installation.
