Dual Valve Spring Shim Kit (0.015" Thick) - Type 1 Engines

These hardened valve spring shims are designed for use with dual heavy duty valve springs on Aircooled Volkswagen Type 1 derived engines. Installed beneath the valve springs on the cylinder head, they provide a hardened seating surface which prevents heavy duty springs from cutting into or damaging the softer aluminium cylinder head material.

Essential for performance and high RPM engine builds, these shims help maintain correct valve spring installed height while improving long-term reliability of the cylinder head and valve train assembly. Manufactured from hardened steel for durability under extreme valve spring pressures.

Supplied as a set of 8, enough for one complete engine.
