Rocker Arm Shim Set (0.030" Thick) - Type 1 Engines

Set of 8 precision rocker arm shims for Volkswagen Type 1 aircooled engines. Designed for adjusting rocker arm position and side play on bolt-up rocker shaft assemblies fitted to 1200cc-1600cc engines.

These shims are used during valve train setup to correctly position the rocker arms on the shaft and maintain proper valve geometry. They replace the original wave washers used on standard rocker shaft assemblies and help eliminate excessive side play which can lead to noisy operation, inaccurate valve motion and premature wear.

The thicker 0.030″ size is ideal when larger adjustments are required on performance engines using aftermarket rocker shafts, ratio rockers or modified cylinder heads.

Perfect for engine builders setting up custom valve train geometry on high performance aircooled VW engines.
