EMPI 1.1:1 Rocker Arm Assembly - Type 1 Engines

This high-performance rocker arm set is designed for VW Type 1 aircooled engines, offering stock 1.1:1 ratio operation with upgraded strength and durability. Manufactured using the same chromoly rockers, heavy-duty shafts, and reinforced stands as performance 1.25 and 1.4 ratio kits, this set delivers improved reliability without altering factory valve lift characteristics.

Rocker arms transfer motion from the camshaft (via pushrods) to the valves, controlling valve opening and closing. While standard rockers are prone to wear over time—especially on higher mileage or uprated engines—this upgraded set provides a stronger, more stable valvetrain. The chromoly construction resists flex under load, helping maintain accurate valve timing and reducing wear on valve train components.

Fitting & Installation Notes
