82mm Counterweighted Crankshaft - Forged 4340

Multiple die stamp forged from 4340 chromoly (One of the strongeset materials available for crankshafts).

Cranks are then magna fluxed, shot peened and all journals are nitrided, precision ground and micro polished.

Additional features include cross drilled, chamfered oil holes, dynamic balancing, 8 dowel and extra long dowel pins.

This 82mm crankshaft will increase your engine size over the standard 69mm crankshaft fitted to all 1300cc to 1600cc Aircooled VW engines.

Depending on which piston size you are using it will increase your engine size as follows:

• Using standard 1600cc 85.5mm pistons your engine size would increase to 1883cc.
• Using 87mm pistons your engine size would increase to 1950cc.
• Using 90.5mm pistons your engine size would increase to 2110cc.
• Using 92mm pistons your engine size would increase to 2180cc.
• Using 94mm pistons your engine size would increase to 2276cc.

NOTE: Stroker cranks require machining of case and possibly other internal components for rod clearance
