5.400″ is the standard length for a VW 1300cc to 1600cc aircooled con rod.
Forged 4340 H-Beam con rods are manufactured using a computerized machining process which hold extremely close tolerances.
H-Beam con rods are designed to be as compact as possible reducing the need to clearance the crankcase on long stroke or stroker crankshafts
