GTV-2 Cylinder Head - 94mm - Single Spring (40mm Inlet Valves, 35.5mm Exhaust Valves)

High performance GTV-2 racing dual port cylinder head from EMPI, machined to accept 94mm pistons and cylinders. This version is fitted with single valve springs, making it ideal for strong fast road engines and moderate performance builds where high airflow is required without the need for extreme RPM capability.

The cylinder head controls airflow into and out of the combustion chamber. With intake and exhaust ports approximately 20% larger than stock, these heads significantly improve airflow, resulting in better combustion efficiency, increased horsepower and improved throttle response. The 94mm bore machining allows use of large piston and cylinder kits, commonly used in 1915cc engine builds.

Fitted with 40mm stainless steel inlet valves and 35.5mm stainless steel exhaust valves, these heads deliver excellent flow characteristics. The single heavy-duty valve springs are suitable for standard to mild performance camshafts, offering a balance between performance, reliability and reduced valvetrain stress.
