Clip On EMPI Stainless Steel Rocker Covers - Type 1 Engines, Waterboxer Engines

High quality pair of EMPI stainless steel rocker covers for Volkswagen aircooled Type 1 engines and Wasserboxer engines. Manufactured from stamped stainless steel and polished to a high lustre finish, these rocker covers provide a durable corrosion-resistant upgrade while adding a classic performance appearance to the engine bay.
Designed as direct replacement clip-on valve covers, these fit all aircooled 1200cc-1600cc Type 1 based engines excluding early 25HP and 30HP engines, along with 1900cc and 2100cc Wasserboxer engines. The covers are internally clearanced to provide additional room for most high-lift rocker arm assemblies, making them suitable for both standard and mild performance engine builds.
Each rocker cover features the EMPI logo stamped into the surface and includes chrome retaining bails along with rocker cover gaskets for installation.
The rocker covers seal the valve train area and retain engine oil around the rocker arms and valve gear. Replacing damaged or rusty rocker covers helps prevent oil leaks and restores the appearance of the engine compartment.
Ideal for restoration projects, Cal Look builds, custom engines, and performance street cars.
