CB Performance Rocker Cover Vents

These premium CB Performance rocker cover breather vents are designed to improve crankcase ventilation on aircooled and waterboxer VW engines, particularly those running at higher RPM or with performance upgrades. Supplied as a pair, they provide a robust and effective solution for reducing crankcase pressure and oil blow-by.

Manufactured to a slightly longer 40mm body length, with a 20mm hose barb section, these vents offer improved hose engagement and a more secure connection compared to standard versions. This ensures breather hoses remain firmly attached, even under high crankcase pressure conditions.

Unlike standard breather vents that use O-rings, this CB Performance version is supplied with metal crush washers, creating a strong, positive seal against the rocker cover. This design is ideal for performance applications where reliability and sealing integrity are critical.

By allowing excess crankcase pressure to escape, these vents help prevent oil leaks, reduce blow-by, and improve overall engine efficiency. When connected to a breather box or catch tank via the 1/2″ hose barbs, they form part of a controlled ventilation system that keeps your engine cleaner and running more consistently.
