14mm Spark Plug Inserts (Set of 4)

Spark plug thread repair inserts designed to repair stripped or damaged spark plug threads in aircooled Volkswagen cylinder heads without the need to replace the head. These inserts are an ideal solution for repairing worn spark plug holes caused by cross-threading, overtightening or repeated spark plug changes.

To install, the damaged spark plug hole must first be reamed and tapped using a 16mm x 1.5 thread repair tap. Once fitted, the insert restores the cylinder head back to the original M14 x 1.25 spark plug thread size, allowing standard spark plugs to be used again.

These inserts are suitable for use with standard 14mm thread spark plugs including popular aircooled VW spark plugs such as Bosch W8AC.

Perfect for engine repairs, workshop maintenance and cylinder head restoration on classic aircooled engines.
