This front right brake caliper is a high-quality, brand-new replacement unit for Porsche 914 models produced between 1972 and 1976. Supplied outright with no exchange required, it is ideal for restorations, routine maintenance, and safety-critical braking repairs.

The front brake caliper is responsible for converting hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder into clamping force at the wheel. When the brake pedal is applied, brake fluid pressure forces the caliper piston to press the brake pads against the disc, creating friction that slows the vehicle. On the mid-engine Porsche 914, properly functioning front brakes are essential for balanced braking, predictable handling, and confident stopping performance.
