This M-Type rear right brake caliper is a high-quality, brand-new fixed caliper manufactured to ATE specifications for Porsche models equipped with vented rear brake discs. Supplied outright with no exchange required, it is ideal for restorations, upgrades, and replacements where original calipers are seized, corroded, or beyond economical repair.

The ATE M-Type caliper is a 2-piston fixed design, using 38mm pistons to apply even clamping force across the brake pads. When the brake pedal is pressed, hydraulic pressure acts on both pistons simultaneously, pressing the pads squarely against the 282mm vented rear brake disc. This design provides stable braking performance, predictable pedal feel, and excellent heat control during repeated braking.

Originally fitted to a wide range of air-cooled Porsche 911 models, the M-Type caliper’s robust design and correct piston sizing meant it continued to be used on later generations, including the 964, 993, and early 996 models. This makes it a proven, long-lived braking component across multiple Porsche platforms.

This caliper is manufactured as a brand-new unit (not reconditioned), with new pistons and seals throughout. It is supplied without E-Mark, making it suitable for classic restorations, motorsport use, or markets where E-approval is not required.
