Porsche 911 Front Brake Caliper - 1975-83 - Right

This front right brake caliper is a correct-spec replacement for Porsche 911 models fitted with 2.7 and 3.0 litre engines, covering production from August 1975 to July 1983. Manufactured to original Porsche Classic standards, it is suitable for restorations, maintenance, and safety-critical repairs on these iconic air-cooled 911s.

The front brake caliper converts hydraulic pressure from the braking system into clamping force at the wheel. When the brake pedal is pressed, brake fluid pressure forces the piston inside the caliper to push the brake pads against the disc, creating friction that slows the vehicle. On rear-engined 911s, effective and balanced front braking is essential for stability, confidence, and predictable handling.

Over time, original calipers can suffer from corrosion, seized pistons, or seal failure, leading to uneven braking, pulling under braking, increased pedal travel, or brake fluid leaks. Replacing the caliper restores proper hydraulic function, even pad contact, and consistent braking performance.
