This rear lower front control arm is a key component of the Porsche Macan`s advanced multi-link rear suspension system. Fitted to the right-hand side of the rear axle (driver`s side on RHD vehicles), it helps maintain correct wheel alignment and suspension geometry while controlling wheel movement during acceleration, braking and cornering.

The control arm links the rear wheel carrier to the suspension subframe and works alongside the other rear suspension links to provide the precise handling, stability and ride quality expected from the Porsche Macan. As bushes and joints wear over time, symptoms can include knocking noises from the rear suspension, uneven tyre wear, vague handling, instability under braking and wheel alignment issues.
