T4,G2,G3 Rear Brake Hose - Rear Disc Brake Models (161mm Long)

Replacement flexible rubber brake hose for the rear brakes on VW T4 models fitted with rear brake discs, not rear drums. This hose is also used on selected performance and higher-spec VW cars including Mk2 Golf GTI, G60 and Rallye, Mk2 Jetta GTI, Mk3 Golf, Vento and Corrado models.

The flexible brake hose connects the fixed metal brake pipe to the moving rear brake caliper, allowing suspension and axle movement while maintaining safe hydraulic pressure. Over time, old hoses can crack, swell internally or perish, leading to poor brake feel, sticking brakes or reduced braking performance. Replacing worn hoses is an important part of brake system maintenance and helps restore safe, consistent braking.

This hose is 161mm long and features 1 x M10 female end and 1 x M10 male end. Sold individually, so 2 are normally required per vehicle for a full rear axle replacement. When fitting, it is good practice to inspect the metal brake lines, calipers and bleed the system with fresh brake fluid.
