G2 Rubber Exhaust Hanger

This rubber exhaust hanger is designed to support and isolate the exhaust system on a wide range of classic Volkswagen models. It plays a vital role in holding the exhaust securely in position while absorbing vibration and movement from the engine and road.
Manufactured from durable, heat-resistant rubber, this hanger prevents metal-to-metal contact between the exhaust and chassis. This reduces noise, minimises vibration transfer into the cabin, and helps protect exhaust components such as silencers, pipes, and catalytic converters from stress-related damage.
Over time, original exhaust hangers can crack, stretch, or perish due to heat and age. When this happens, the exhaust may begin to sag, knock against the body, or place strain on joints and mounts. Replacing worn hangers restores correct exhaust alignment and prevents premature failure of other exhaust components.
