T5 Rear Brake Caliper (314mm Brake Discs) - Left (ATE)

This rear brake caliper is a direct replacement for selected Volkswagen Transporter T5 models fitted with the ATE rear braking system, covering vehicles produced from April 2003 to August 2015.

Designed for the left-hand side (passenger side on RHD vehicles), this caliper is intended for use with vented rear brake discs measuring 314mm in diameter and 22mm thickness. It features a 44mm single piston, providing strong and consistent braking force while ensuring even pad wear and stable rear braking performance.

Manufactured to suit ATE rear brake systems, this caliper is ideal for higher-spec T5 models that were factory-equipped with the larger 314mm rear disc setup.

As with all braking components, it is strongly recommended to replace rear brake calipers in pairs. Replacing both sides at the same time helps maintain balanced braking performance and prevents uneven wear or handbrake imbalance.

How it works

When the brake pedal is applied, hydraulic pressure pushes the piston inside the caliper outward, pressing the brake pads against the disc. The single-piston design delivers controlled braking force and reliable operation under load, making it well suited to heavier Transporter variants.

• A matching right-hand rear brake caliper

• Checked or renewed caliper guide pins

• Fresh brake fluid, fully bled after installation
