T4,G3 Water Temperature Sensor - Black And Blue

Replacement 4-pin coolant temperature sender switch for a wide range of Volkswagen T4, VR6 and TDI models. This sender is used for coolant temperature monitoring, dashboard gauge operation and additional functions such as auxiliary water pump or cooling fan run-on control depending on vehicle specification.

Designed with a black and blue housing and 4-pin electrical connection, this sender operates within a 95°C to 100°C switching range and is commonly fitted to VW T4 Transporters, Corrado VR6, Golf Mk3 VR6, Passat VR6 and Sharan models.

A faulty coolant temperature sender can cause incorrect temperature gauge readings, poor cooling fan operation, hard starting, erratic idle behaviour or cooling system warning faults. Replacing a failing sender helps restore accurate coolant monitoring and reliable cooling system performance.

This sender fits into the coolant flange housing and is retained using a separate retaining clip and O-ring seal, both available separately if required.
