T4 Sliding Door Lower Outer Repair Skin - 570mm High

Replacement lower outer repair skin for the sliding door on all VW T4 Transporter models from the start of production through to 2003. This repair panel fits either left or right hand sliding doors and runs the full length of the lower door section.

The lower section of the T4 sliding door is highly prone to corrosion due to trapped moisture, road salt and debris collecting along the bottom seam and inner frame. Over time this causes bubbling paint, rust holes and structural deterioration around the lower edge of the door. This repair skin is designed to replace the damaged outer section while retaining the original door structure.

Manufactured to accurately follow the original panel profile, this repair section is ideal for professional body repairs, restorations or MOT corrosion repairs. The panel measures approximately 570mm tall and extends the full length of the sliding door lower section for a cleaner and stronger repair compared to smaller patch panels.

These panels are finished in a high quality lead-free zinc coating to help protect against corrosion before painting. The coating has been thoroughly tested to ensure excellent weldability along with strong primer and paint adhesion during refinishing.
