T4 B Post Outer Skin - Upto 2nd Swage Line

This B-post repair panel is designed to repair the lower section of the B-pillar up to the second swage line on Volkswagen Transporter T4 models. It provides a strong, accurately shaped replacement section to restore structural integrity and body alignment where corrosion or damage has occurred.

The B-post is a key structural component of the vehicle, supporting the body shell, door alignment and overall rigidity. On T4 models, the lower section of the B-post is particularly prone to rust due to moisture, road debris and water ingress around the sliding door area. Once corrosion sets in, it can weaken the structure and affect how the doors close and seal. This repair panel allows you to cut out the damaged metal and weld in a fresh section, restoring both strength and correct panel shape.

This panel has been primarily manufactured for the left-hand side (driver’s side LHD) sliding door area, but due to its versatile design it can also be adapted for use on either side of the vehicle, with or without a sliding door. It follows the original body contours up to the second swage line, making it ideal for professional repairs or high-quality restorations.

When carrying out this repair, it is recommended to inspect surrounding areas such as the inner sill, step panel, and door track sections, as these are commonly affected at the same time. Proper corrosion protection, seam sealing and painting after installation are essential to ensure long-term durability.
