Passat B7 Front Brake Caliper (312mm Brake Discs) - Right (ATE)

This front brake caliper – right-hand side is a direct replacement for selected Volkswagen models fitted with 312mm vented front brake discs and ATE braking systems. Designed to OE specifications, this caliper restores strong, consistent braking performance and even pad wear across the front axle.
RHD clarification: On right-hand-drive vehicles, Right = Drivers Side.
What this brake caliper does
The front brake caliper is responsible for generating the majority of the vehicle’s stopping power. When the brake pedal is pressed, hydraulic pressure forces the 57mm single piston to clamp the brake pads onto the disc faces. The friction produced converts vehicle speed into heat, slowing the car safely and in a controlled manner.
This caliper is designed for vented brake discs, allowing efficient heat dissipation under repeated or heavy braking. Correct caliper operation is essential for stable braking, consistent pedal feel, and reliable ABS and traction control performance.
