Touareg Rear Brake Disc (350mm Vented)

This rear brake disc is a heavy-duty replacement designed for the Volkswagen Touareg range fitted with PR codes 1KQ or 1KU. With a large 350mm outer diameter and internally vented construction, it is engineered to cope with the high weight and performance demands of the Touareg while maintaining smooth, stable braking on the rear axle.

What this brake disc does

Rear brake discs play a crucial role in overall braking balance and vehicle stability. While the front brakes handle the majority of stopping force, the rear discs support controlled deceleration, assist ABS and stability control systems, and help keep the vehicle level under braking.

When the brake pedal is applied, the rear calipers clamp the brake pads onto the disc surface. The friction generated slows the rear wheels in a controlled manner. The internally vented design uses internal cooling vanes to draw air through the disc as it rotates, helping to dissipate heat effectively.
