Beetle Clutch And Brake Pedal Cover - Wedge Style

This replacement wedge style pedal rubber is designed to fit clutch or brake pedals on a wide range of classic aircooled Volkswagen models. Originally introduced on later Volkswagen Beetle models from 1974 onwards, this improved wedge design provides better grip and durability, but can also be fitted to earlier vehicles for an easy upgrade.

The pedal cover simply slides over the metal pedal arm, creating a non-slip rubber surface for safe and comfortable operation. Over time, original pedal rubbers wear smooth, crack or fall off completely, leaving a bare metal pedal that can be slippery—especially in wet conditions. This replacement restores proper grip, improves pedal feel, and enhances driving safety.

The wedge shape helps keep your foot securely positioned during braking and clutch operation, particularly useful in classic vehicles where pedal spacing and ergonomics vary. Installation is straightforward—no tools required in most cases—although warming the rubber slightly can help ease fitting onto tighter pedals.
