Mk6 Polo Front Brake Disc (276mm Vented)

This front brake disc is a high-quality replacement designed for the VW Polo Mk6 (AW/BZ) and VW T-Cross models fitted with factory PR codes 1ZE, 1ZP or 1ZS. With a 276mm outer diameter and internally vented construction, this disc is engineered to provide strong, consistent braking performance under everyday driving conditions as well as heavier use.

What this brake disc does

The front brake discs are a critical safety component, working with the brake pads and caliper to slow and stop the vehicle. When you press the brake pedal, hydraulic pressure forces the caliper pistons to clamp the pads onto the disc surface. The friction generated converts kinetic energy into heat, bringing the vehicle safely to a halt.

This disc features an internally vented design, meaning there are cooling vanes between the two disc faces. These vanes draw air through the disc as it rotates, helping to dissipate heat more efficiently. Improved cooling reduces brake fade, maintains consistent pedal feel, and extends the life of both the disc and pads—especially important on the front axle, where most braking force is applied.
