T25 Syncro Diff Lock Valve Mounting Plate

Retaining plate for securing the differential lock control valve assembly on Volkswagen T25/T3 Syncro models.

This retaining plate is used as part of the factory differential lock control system fitted to Volkswagen T25/T3 Syncro models. It secures the differential lock control valve in position within the dashboard or centre console mounting assembly, ensuring the valve remains correctly located during operation.

The Syncro differential lock system uses vacuum-operated control valves to engage and disengage the front and rear differential locks. This retaining plate works alongside the valve holder and associated mounting components to keep the controls securely mounted, preventing unwanted movement, vibration and stress on the valve body, vacuum hoses and control cables.

Missing, damaged or corroded retaining plates can result in loose controls, rattles behind the dashboard and difficulty operating the differential lock system. Replacing worn hardware helps restore the original mounting arrangement and ensures reliable operation of the Syncro`s four-wheel-drive controls.
