T25 Gear Shifter Lower Bush Kit - 5 Speed Models

This 2 piece lower gear shifter repair bush kit is designed for all VW Type 25/T3 models fitted with a 5 speed gearbox. These bushes fit at the lower section of the gear linkage and are used to support and stabilise the gear stick mechanism, helping restore a more precise and controlled shift action.

As the original bushes wear with age, the gear lever can develop excessive side-to-side movement, vague selection and a loose or sloppy feel during gear changes. Replacing the lower bushes helps take unwanted play out of the linkage, improving shift accuracy and making the gearbox feel tighter and more positive. This can be especially noticeable on older T25s where worn linkage components make 5 speed selection more difficult.

These replacement bushes are ideal for routine maintenance or as part of a full gear linkage overhaul. For best results, check the condition of the other shifter bushes, linkage parts, guide components and retaining hardware at the same time, as wear elsewhere in the mechanism can also affect gear selection.
