Premium quality front brake pad set manufactured by ATE, designed specifically for late-style front brake calipers fitted to Volkswagen Baywindow buses from August 1972 through to 1979 and early Type 25 (T3) models up to July 1985.

From mid-1972, VW introduced an upgraded braking system featuring larger, more robust calipers secured with 14mm mounting bolts (replacing the earlier 12mm design). These calipers use larger brake pads and discs, significantly improving braking performance and heat dissipation. This ATE pad set is engineered to match this later system precisely and is not compatible with early models.

Brake pads are a critical component in the braking system, converting hydraulic pressure into friction against the brake disc to slow the vehicle.
