Splitscreen Bus Rear Brake Drum - 1964-67

Restore braking performance on your classic VW with this replacement rear brake drum, designed for all Volkswagen Splitscreen Buses from September 1964 to 1967. Manufactured to original specifications, this drum features the correct wide 5 stud pattern (5×205 PCD) and is finished with an anti-oxidising oil coating to prevent corrosion during storage.

Measuring 250mm internal diameter and 51mm deep, it suits rear axle setups using the 46mm hub nut and matches the braking system used on late Splitscreen models. This drum is built to a good quality standard, offering reliable stopping power and a solid fit for everyday driving or full restorations.

While drums are sold individually, we strongly recommend replacing them in pairs to ensure even braking force and safe vehicle performance. Always clean the inside brake surface with brake cleaner before installation to remove protective oils applied during manufacture.
