Baywindow Bus Heavy Duty CV Joint (Also Type 25 Heavy Duty CV Joint (Not Syncro Models)

This heavy duty CV joint is a top-quality replacement designed for increased strength and durability, making it ideal for both standard use and more demanding applications such as lowered vehicles, campers, or off-road setups.

Fitted on the transmission (inner) side of the rear driveshaft, the CV (constant velocity) joint allows smooth transfer of drive from the gearbox to the wheels while accommodating suspension movement. Inside the joint, precision-machined tracks and hardened ball bearings allow the shaft to articulate while maintaining constant rotational speed, preventing vibration and power loss.

This off-road specification CV joint features larger 0.75″ ball bearings and robust internal construction for improved load handling compared to standard joints. It is especially beneficial on vehicles subjected to higher torque, steep angles, or heavier loads.

With an outer diameter of 100mm, this CV joint fits a wide range of aircooled VW applications and is also commonly used when upgrading or converting earlier vehicles.
