Hi. I've just removed my steering idler pin from a 4" narrowed beam king and linkpin set up. My new idler pin is considerably longer than the removed one!!. I originally ordered a bay window pin set . However after removal discovered it to be a split screen idler pin set up. So I ordered the split screen idler pin. Bushes are fine. But pin is too long. I'm confused..... Any ideas? It's a71 with a type2 detectives beam. New split screen idler pin is the same length as the bay window pin that was mistakenly purchased.

With the Transporterhaus beams that we stock for the Splitscreen Bus they are supplied with a special idler pin that is modified and shorter than the standard pin. This is to give extra ground clearance. This is probably the same with the T2D beam. I would suggest going back to T2D to see if they supply the ider pin separately as our ones may not be the same length.
