G2 Bonnet Cable Clip

This black retaining clip is used mainly for securing the bonnet release cable under the bonnet, usually on the passenger side inner wing on RHD vehicles. It can also be used on some models to hold vacuum pipes, central locking pipes, small body-mounted lines, and parts of the automatic selector mechanism.

The clip keeps cables and pipes correctly routed and prevents them from rubbing, rattling, dropping onto moving components, or being damaged by heat and vibration. Missing or broken clips can leave the bonnet cable loose, which may cause poor bonnet release operation or unnecessary cable wear.

This is a small but useful replacement part for restoration work, engine bay tidying, or replacing brittle original plastic clips.

Fitting Notes

Pushes into the original body location and secures the cable or pipe in place. Check the original clip style and location before fitting, as this clip was used in several positions depending on model and equipment. If the surrounding hole or mounting point is enlarged, rusty, or damaged, the clip may not hold securely.
