T1,T25,G1 Steering Column Plastic Support Ring

Plastic steering column support ring designed to replace the original metal top support bush. This ring fits behind the upper steering column bearing and helps keep the steering shaft correctly supported, reducing unwanted movement and helping restore a firm, stable steering feel.

The support ring works by locating the upper section of the steering column around the bearing area. When the original bush wears, breaks up, or becomes loose, the steering wheel can develop play, rattles, or a vague feel. Replacing it helps support the column correctly so the steering shaft stays aligned as the wheel is turned.

This plastic version supersedes the earlier metal type bush, part number 111953535D, and performs the same function. It is suitable for restoration, steering column rebuilds, or replacing missing or worn support components.

Fitted behind the upper bearing. You may also need to inspect the steering column bearing, ignition switch housing, steering wheel retaining hardware, and column switches while the column is apart.
