G1 Front Engine Mount

Restore smooth engine support and reduce unwanted engine movement with this high-quality front engine mount for VW Golf Mk1 and Jetta Mk1 models. Manufactured from durable rubber and steel, this mount is designed to support the front of the engine and gearbox assembly while absorbing engine vibration and movement during acceleration, braking and gear changes.

Over time, the original rubber mount can soften, crack or separate, leading to excessive engine movement, knocking noises, vibration through the cabin and poor gear selection. Replacing a worn rear engine mount restores proper drivetrain alignment, improves driving comfort and helps reduce stress on the remaining engine and gearbox mounts.
