G1 Tailgate Gas Strut - Cabrio Models (260N)

Replacement gas strut for the rear boot lid on Volkswagen Golf Mk1 Cabriolet models. Designed to support the boot lid during opening and closing, this gas strut helps provide smooth controlled movement while safely holding the lid in the open position.

Over time original gas struts lose pressure and become weak, causing the boot lid to drop unexpectedly or making it difficult to keep the lid open. Replacing worn struts restores proper operation and improves safety and convenience when accessing the luggage compartment.
