This shock absorber top mount dust cover is designed to protect the upper section of your shock absorber from dirt, debris, and moisture, helping to extend the life of your suspension components. A simple but essential part, it prevents contamination from entering the shock shaft and top mount area, ensuring consistent suspension performance.

Fitted over the top of the shock absorber, this cover acts as a barrier against road grime and water. Without it, dirt can work its way into the shock seal and mounting area, leading to premature wear, reduced damping performance, and potential noise or knocking from the suspension.

On aircooled models, this dust cover fits the front shocks on ball joint beam vehicles (excluding 1303 Super Beetle), where it helps protect the exposed upper shock shaft. On watercooled models, it is used on the rear shock absorbers, providing the same protection in the rear suspension setup.

Manufactured from durable material, it is built to withstand harsh road conditions while maintaining flexibility for easy installation. This is an ideal replacement for missing, cracked, or deteriorated originals and is recommended whenever shocks are replaced.
