Fitting:

The original wiring colours/terminal is as follows:

• 53a Black/Grey
• 31b or 53e Green
• 53b Black/Yellow
• 31 Brown
• 53 Black

For new motors with mixed coloured wiring

• The red wire is the earth wire / terminal 31
• the green wire is the slow speed / terminal 53
• the yellow wire is the fast speed / terminal 53b
• the black wire is park / terminal 53a
• the white wire is the park link / terminal 31b/53e.

For new motors with blue wiring

• The Black wire is the earth wire / terminal 31
• the Blue/White wire is the slow speed / terminal 53
• the Blue/Red wire is the fast speed / terminal 53b
• the Plain Blue wire is park / terminal 53a
• the Blue/Black wire is the park link / terminal 31b/53e
