Beetle Electrical Fuel Sender - 1968-79 (Also Fits 1974 Karmann Ghia)

This good quality electric fuel sender is designed as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to standard VW Beetles from 1968 to 1979 (excluding 1302 and 1303 models) and Karmann Ghias from 1974 onwards. The sender provides the correct resistance range for accurate fuel gauge readings—80 Ohms at empty and 10 Ohms at full—ensuring smooth and predictable gauge operation.

Featuring a 5-hole PCD of 54.5mm, this sender matches the factory mounting pattern found on non-Super Beetle fuel tanks. Over time, original senders can corrode, seize or send erratic signals, causing unreliable gauge readings. Replacing the sender restores proper function and eliminates guesswork when checking your fuel level.

Manufactured to a high standard, this sender installs directly into the tank and is supplied with a new seal for a leak-free fit. No modification is required when fitting to the correct models.

Fitment:
• VW Beetle: 1968–1979 (except 1302 & 1303 Super Beetle)
• VW Karmann Ghia: 1974 onwards
• PCD: 5 × 54.5mm
• Resistance: 80Ω empty, 10Ω full
• Supplied with sealing gasket
