Beetle Exterior Door Handle Set With Ignition Lock (Matching Keys) - 1971-79

This door handle and ignition lock set is an excellent solution for owners of VW Beetles, Karmann Ghias, Type 3s, and Buggies produced from August 1970 onwards, offering matched convenience with one key for all locks. This set includes a pair of reproduction outer door handles and a matching ignition barrel, supplied with two keys for ease of use and consistency.

Manufactured with a single-plate “Sunny Climate Chrome” finish, this set replicates the look of the original parts and is ideal for show cars or vehicles stored in dry environments. However, due to the nature of this chrome plating, no warranty is offered for UK use where exposure to moisture may cause oxidation or surface rust within months. With that in mind, regular waxing and careful maintenance are highly recommended to retain shine and extend lifespan.

Note: Handle seals are not included. If required, please order seal kit part number 111837211KIT separately.
When fitting to VW Type 3s, reuse the original locking lever from your old handle to complete the installation.
