Beetle Exterior Door Handle Set (Matching Keys) - 1968-79

This pair of exterior door handles is a great-value replacement set for VW Beetles, Karmann Ghias, and Type 3s from 1968 to 1979, and is also suitable for use on Buggy and Baja builds based on these models. Finished in “Sunny Climate Chrome”, these handles offer a bright, factory-style appearance and come keyed alike with two matching keys included.

Manufactured as good quality reproductions, these handles replicate the design and function of the originals. Each handle includes a working lock barrel, providing convenient and secure access to your classic VW. However, it is important to note that the chrome finish is single-plate, designed for dry climates. In damp or UK conditions, these may rust or oxidise within months. To extend their lifespan, we strongly recommend regular cleaning, polishing, and waxing.

Handle seals are not included and can be ordered separately using part number 111837211KIT. When fitting to Type 3 models, you will need to reuse the original locking lever from your existing handles to ensure proper operation.
