1302 + 1303 Beetle Steering Linkage (small) - 1970-74

Replace worn or damaged steering components with this EMPI steering coupling shaft, designed to connect the steering column to the steering box on early 1302 and 1303 Beetles. Complete with heavy-duty universal joints, this assembly restores smooth, precise steering whilst eliminating excessive play caused by worn original joints or shafts.

Manufactured to OE dimensions, this is the early short version, measuring 275mm overall length, and is suitable for 1302 and 1303 models manufactured up to July 1974. Please note that later models use a longer steering shaft, so check the overall length before ordering.

Fits:

VW Beetle 1302 – 1200cc, 1300cc & 1600cc (1969-1972)

VW Beetle 1303 – 1200cc, 1300cc & 1600cc (1972-1974)
