Beetle Heat Exchanger To Chassis Heater Muffler - 1968 Only (355mm x 60mm x 60mm)

Replacement heater muffler tube for VW Beetle models from 1967 to 1968 fitted with standard factory engine and heat exchangers.

This heater tube fits between the heat exchanger and the body heater channel, carrying warm air from the engine heating system into the cabin. The corrugated construction helps reduce vibration and heater noise while maintaining airflow through the vehicle’s heating system.

This version also fits the passenger side (left side on RHD vehicles) of 1200cc VW Beetles from 1968 to 1979. Due to the age of many vehicles and the common use of replacement engines, aftermarket exhausts or mixed-year heat exchangers, it is very important to measure both your vehicle and heat exchangers before ordering to ensure the correct tube size is selected.

Worn, damaged or missing heater tubes can result in poor cabin heating, warm air leaks, excessive heater noise and fumes entering the heating system. Replacing old tubes helps restore proper airflow and heater efficiency.

Manufactured from durable corrugated material in the original style. Two tubes are normally required per vehicle depending on application. Hose clips or clamps may be required separately.
