Beetle Exhaust - Twin Hotspot

Restore factory performance and proper heat riser function with this standard exhaust system, made specifically for 1300cc twin hot spot AR-code engines fitted in VW Beetles from 1973 to 1975. This good-quality reproduction exhaust is designed to match the original layout and backpressure characteristics, making it perfect for stock restorations and daily drivers.

You can identify this exhaust by its unique four pre-heat pipe ports—two on each side—that connect to the inlet manifold heat risers. These additional hot spot connections improve fuel vaporization and cold-start performance, especially in cooler climates.

This exhaust is only suitable for twin hot spot engine setups, and will not fit standard single riser or later engine configurations. It bolts directly to the stock 1300cc twin hot spot manifold system and heat exchangers. Gaskets and fittings are sold separately; make sure to use part number 113251263D for the special twin hot spot heat riser gaskets, as these are not included in standard exhaust fitting kits.
