31 PICT Inlet Manifold - 1200cc Type 1 Engines

This top-quality replacement inlet manifold is designed specifically for Type 1 1200cc single-port aircooled engines fitted with 31 PICT carburettors. Reproduced to original specification, this manifold provides perfect alignment, proper mixture distribution and reliable engine performance. It features an integrated pre-heat system with exhaust-connected heat riser pipes, which warms the intake mixture to prevent carburettor icing—an essential feature for smooth running in cold or damp driving conditions.

Suitable only for the 34HP 1200cc engines used from 1960 onwards in Volkswagen Beetles, Karmann Ghias and Splitscreen Buses, this manifold is not compatible with earlier 25HP or 30HP 1200 engines. Manufactured from high-quality steel and welded to excellent standards, it is ideal for restorations, stock rebuilds and everyday use on classic 1200cc single-port engines.

Manifold-to-head copper crush gasket washers are not included and must be purchased separately—see part number N0138232.
