Type 1 Fuel Pump Flange (Also Waterboxer Fuel Pump Flange)

This replacement Bakelite fuel pump flange, also known as the fuel pump pedestal, is a critical component for the reliable operation of your Volkswagen’s fuel delivery system. Positioned beneath the standard mechanical fuel pump, this pedestal ensures proper alignment and operation of the fuel pump push rod.

Over time, the original Bakelite flange becomes brittle due to age and engine heat, leading to potential cracks or breaks that can interrupt fuel flow or even damage the engine case.
