Fuel Pump - Type 1 Engines (Alternator Models) - Brosol

Top quality BROSOL mechanical fuel pump designed for Type 1 aircooled engines fitted with alternators. This is the correct “tilted” style pump, angled to provide clearance around the larger alternator body, making it the proper replacement where a generator-style upright pump will not fit.

The fuel pump is responsible for delivering fuel from the tank to the carburettor. Driven mechanically by a push rod from the engine, the pump uses an internal diaphragm to draw fuel in and push it forward under pressure. Reliable fuel delivery is essential for smooth running, correct carburettor operation, and consistent engine performance. A worn pump can cause poor starting, hesitation, fuel starvation, or leaks.

This unit is designed specifically for alternator-equipped engines and must be used with the shorter 100mm push rod (113127307A). Using the incorrect push rod length can result in incorrect fuel pressure or damage to the pump.

Supplied with mounting gaskets for installation.

Important: Only suitable for alternator conversions or factory alternator setups. For generator-equipped engines, a different upright pump and longer push rod are required.
