CV Joint Bolt Spreader Plate (90mm)

This CV joint spreader plate is designed for IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) models, fitting under the six securing bolts on each CV joint to ensure even load distribution and a secure connection. A small but critical component, it helps prevent bolt loosening and reduces stress on the CV joint flange during operation.

Mounted beneath the CV joint bolts, these plates spread the clamping force across a wider surface area. This reduces the risk of bolt heads pulling into the CV joint flange and helps maintain consistent torque. In high-load situations—such as acceleration, cornering, or off-road use—this added support is essential for long-term reliability.

Each CV joint requires 3 spreader plates, positioned evenly across the six bolts. They are sold individually, allowing you to order exactly what you need whether replacing a single joint or completing a full drivetrain rebuild.

These are particularly important on IRS-equipped vehicles where CV joints are under constant articulation and load. Ideal for restorations, maintenance, or performance builds where drivetrain integrity is a priority.

For installation, you may also require new CV joint bolts, serrated washers (if applicable), grease, and CV boots if servicing the joint fully.
