Twin Port Oil Cooler Conversion Seal Set

Oil cooler seal conversion kit, this kit will allow you to fit a twin port cooler and mount on to a singleport engine.

From August 1969 the oil galleries in the crankcase of a Type 1 and Type 3 engine were enlarged from 8mm to 10mm.  At the same time the oil cooler also had englarged opening.

So to be able to install a new 10mm oil cooler onto an 8mm crankcase you will need to use these conversion oil seals.

You can also use these seals the other way around and install a 8mm coolers onto a 10mm crankcase, but if you do it this way around you will also need to fit the 3 washers included in this kit which will locate between the cooler and the crankcase.
