FAQs

The gland nut appears to have a fixed fibre seal fitted before the roller bearings (which the genuine VW gland does not). Does the fibre seal need lubricating (if so what with?) before pushing the gearbox input shaft into the gland nut bearing? Many thanks

Lubricate with engine oil before installing.
