T5,G4 Water Pump - 1.8, 2.0

Replacement mechanical engine cooling water pump for a wide range of Volkswagen petrol and CNG engines including 1.8, 1.8 Turbo and 2.0 litre applications across Golf, Bora, New Beetle, Passat, T5 Transporter and many other VW models.

This water pump is driven by the timing belt and circulates coolant through the engine, radiator and heater system to maintain correct engine operating temperature. A worn or leaking water pump can cause overheating, coolant loss, noisy bearings or timing belt damage if left unchecked.

The pump is fitted with a 7 vane impeller and 23 tooth timing belt pulley for reliable coolant circulation and long service life. Because this pump is timing belt driven, it is strongly recommended to replace it during timing belt service intervals to avoid future labour costs and possible engine damage.
